#START-UP: testing home delivery service Stuart at Westfield Forum Des Halles

URW Lab

Feb 10, 2020

Since January 8th, Stuart, the last mile delivery start-up, now a subsidiary of Groupe La Poste, has been partnering with Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield to test its service in Westfield Forum des Halles in order to offer visitors an enriched and more fluid shopping experience.

Stuart is a leading last-mile delivery platform that connects retailers and e-merchants to a fleet of geolocalised couriers. They empower thousands of companies across Europe by providing same-day delivery, next-day delivery and return solutions.

URW Link has started teaming up with Stuart to develop an innovative conciergerie service that allows the visitors of Westfield Forum Des Halles to shop and have their purchases shipped directly from the centre’s front desk or Click&Services to any location, at any time, for more convenience. Once ordered, clients purchases are stored for same-day or next-day delivery, waiting for a Stuart courier to collect the parcel and deliver it on the desired time slot.

An innovative service for an omnichannel and seamless customer experience

Stuart is going through a test phase of its solution in Westfield Forum des Halles to measure customers’ appetite for such service. The goal of this proof of concept (POC) is to develop a new service around convenience, onboard retailers on the service and pave the way for further collaboration on potential checkout services relying on Stuart delivery capabilities.

This POC is in line with the Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield’s innovation strategy that seeks to enhance customer journey by making it more seamless and omnichannel. If the results of the POC are convincing, URW Link will work towards the deployment of this solution throughout the Group’s assets, as it was the case for example with Too Good To Go, or Troov more recently.

We are thrilled to initiate this test with Stuart in one of our flagship destinations in Paris, Westfield Forum Des Halles. This innovative service is very promising and we hope that the results of this POC will enable us to grow our collaboration and roll out the solution in the future.
Jean ColletURW Link Director
We are delighted to collaborate with Westfield Forum Des Halles on innovative delivery offerings that put convenience at its core. Delivery, if successfully leveraged within an omnichannel experience, can help improve customer satisfaction, retention and repeat buying. We really hope this new service resonates with the centre’s customer needs, while enhancing their shopping journey.
